New August Inspirational Blog!

Dear Meeting Mighty People Fans:

The other day, I was working on the background pieces that make the Meeting Mighty People Podcast project fun, interesting,  and enjoyable for me, being the  proud host of this amazing project. One of the best parts of this project honestly is being one of the big voices of advocacy for people with disabilities.

As I was working on my next set of interview questions for my next podcast, I thought to myself, I want to really make a noticeable difference in the disability community. Based on hearing from many people and listening to them share their personal stories of challenges regarding accessing support for people that live in diverse situations, I decided to make a change. This change included writing a letter to the Creston and Nelson Member of Legislative Assembly and meeting with her on behalf of the disability community.

I would like to give a huge shout out of appreciation to my community members who have assisted me in reaching my full independent barrier free potential as a person with Cerebral Palsy. Looking forward to working on making this world more inclusive through spreading awareness about my MMP Podcast and the great ways the communities are working to make this world more disability friendly.
