I wanted to summarize my medical vacation away from the Meeting Mighty People Podcast world. Many of you have probably been wondering where I have been I have been through a interesting journey over the past six months
I have been exploring different medical modalities such as medication testing , nutritional rehab. The one thing I appreciated well having to spend at the hospital was there are volunteers and Child Life specialists. Child life support workers help pediatrics persevere through medical procedures by mentally distracting the patient from thinking back to their medical procedures! The care at Children’s Hospitals is next level compared to older adult hospitals whereas at the Children’s Hospital there are people who will play games with you for your social emotional health benefits of a good life.
Being in the hospital wasn’t fun but the staff made it descent despite the situation. With activities like pet night rec therapy. Outside of the AB Children’s appointments I like going for non medical adventures such as drives exploring new parts of downtown Calgary.
